is this a mistake on her part? she is great as casey. she want to expand her abilities as actress?

I believe she's pregnant. She'll be back, like Katherine Erbe. At least, I sure hope so. I really like her.

I don`t really think anyone knows. Here is all I could find for now.Tvguide.com announced on 4/15/08 that Diane Neal will be leaving the show at the end of season 9. Her replacement has yet to be announced.

I really wasn't crazy about her anyway. I really liked Stephanie March better.

Yes, she is leaving, I think to pursue other career opportunities and probably to start a family. She and her husband have been married awhile. But I do hope she returns. She was great. Stephanie March was also great, and you can't compare them to each other. Thats like comparing apples to oranges. They were both smart, successful lawyers who played the part of ADA well.
