 Post subject: i would like to save my moving animation i created from adobe photochop cs3, but...?

i made a moving animation using adobe photoshop and i would like to save it as a gif file. however, when i try to save it optimized using Save for Web and Devices, the image stays still when i open it. How do i fix this problem?i made a gif animation with photoshop and willing to save it to my cmoputer

Are you opening the file in Photoshop after you've saved it, or in a web browser? Animated gifs do not run as actual animation in Photoshop, only in web browsers. So just drag and drop the file onto whatever web browser you use (IE, Safari, FireFox) and a browser window should open and you will see the animation.
