My husband and I have our first date since our baby was born five months ago! He got a comp hotel room, so we are leaving my son overnight with grandma. We don't have much money to spend at all... but I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on things we could do that night that would make it special and fun without spending hardly any money?? I want us to really get the chance to enjoy it... we deserve it!! Thanks!

You could dine at a local ethnic restaurant; Vietnamese and East Indian restaurants always seem to be cheaper, then you walk around town. Just having the opportunity to be alone together itself is special, so try and make the most out of it with a walk. Or, you could go out for a nice coffee and bagel at starbucks in the morning. Have fun !

You don't need to spend much money to have a great time. Especially after having children, you don't get much time to yourselves so it would be nice to do something where it is an intimate environment and you can talk and spend quality time together. Depending where you live, you could pack a picnic and bottle of champange? Goodluck and enjoy your night!

Forget about the room save money and spend that on the entertainment that you two enjoy.Send the child to grandma's place(drop the child off) and have your dwelling to yourself.But you two know what you want and what is available in your area.

Buy a bottle of wine, two red candles, different types of cheeses (small portions), bread (baguette or ciabatta, maybe), crackers, some grapes, an apple. Bring two wine glasses and candle holders -to the hotel- with you. Put some romantic music on, go sit outside and look at the stars, talk small talk, snack on the fruit (apples previously cut in small pieces), cheeses and bread, drink your wine, dance real close together, go back inside and have slow, intense, incredible sex... or wild and passionate, whichever way you prefer. The hotel room was complimentary, right? Meaning: you'd only pay for the wine and the fruit. Sex, good conversation, and dancing are free. Enjoy!

You don't need money to have a Romantic fun date, especially sense you already have the Hotel. Go to dinner at nice and not to spend-ed restaurant close to the hotel and go back to the hotel and have some fun. Your alone with know kid. Make it memorable for you two. Make sure to thank Grandma.
