You need to say more about what method you're using and what type of failure you're getting.I don't have a Nikon Coolpix; but most cameras have two methods of pulling the pics/videos off: 1) USB cable or 2) using a card reader for the memory chip.The USB method will sometimes fail because of conflicting software on the host PC. Sometimes re-installing the camera's software will work; other times (in extreme cases such as virus infection) you may need to re-load Windows onto the PC. If your camera is older or has been damaged, it might not handle the USB interface properly any longer (rare, but possible).Pulling the pics/videos via a card reader should be a little more reliable. This involves using an external card reader or using a PC that has a built-in card reader that is compatible with the SD card used in your camera. You simply need to insert the chip and surf to the right place to find the images or videos. You can then copy them from the camera as if they were any normal file.Good Luck!
