You will definitely get on the job training. It's very good to have some legal studies knowledge first. If you are going to minor in legal studies it's a great area. And the fact that you are majoring in English is going to be a great asset for you because of all the research and writing involved in being a paralegal. You can take the legal assistant exam, CLA, when you have graduated. The CLA is offered 3 times per year, in March/April, July, and November/December.
