Does Doc Rivers give off the impression that he thinks his team can win any game even if they give less than 100%? He just seems like he is always making that stupid grin and laughing even when he is losing to a team like the Cavs. I hope the Cavs can beat those Celtics in Game 7 and give Doc Rivers a major dose of reality. He has no respect for his opponents.wouldn't that have been cool if Ray Allen and Allan Ray had played for the Celtics this season?

nah hes just very confident coz he has great players on his team: Garnett, Pierce + Allen plus the other rising stars like Rondo

What up Randy,i think he's just trying to give the illusion that his team has everything under control- even though they have looked quite shaky in this post-season. Probably just hoping to maintain and hoping that his team can snap out of it and start looking like they did in the regular season.We'll find out soon enough- first they have to beat the Cavs (and while i have the Celts winning game 7- honestly we've yet to see LeBron go off yet)... The Pistons can definitely win in Boston so we'll see how long they can continue to play this poorly on the road. The Cavs are a good defensive team- but not as good as the Cetlics are making them look- the Cetlics i think lack an offensive identity and it hurts them down the stretch in close games.Nickster

I thought he was all class until he tried to blame the refs for the loss last night.LeBron got HACKED every time he drove into the lane in game 5, but there were NO calls. No Cleveland people complained.He's a good coach, but I think he's getting rattled by all the losses on the road.

MDC,Even LeBron admitted after the game that he didn't think Pierce fouled him. He thought he cleanly knocked the ball away from Pierce out of bounds causing the whistle.And LeBron doesn't get hacked every time he drives the lane. He simply puts his shoulder down and runs into people looking for the foul. How do you think the Cavs had twice as many foul shots this series?EVERYONE know LeBron gets more calls especially at home. Doc has respect for every team he faces. But the refs deserve no respect for the bad officiating last night.And not many teams have had success on the road this playoffs. Don't forget that the Cavs haven't won on the road this series either.Simmons article is only one man's opinion and is meaningless. How can Doc be a bad coach if you have the #1 team in the NBA?
