Well, currently I'm trying to play Xbox "Live" on an online gaming server {XLink Kai: Evolution V11}. However, unlike Xbox Live this gaming server requires internet access while playing on my Xbox for some apparent reason. I searched online and found 3 main sources, routers, hubs and switches, and a Cat5 Ethernet cable. Sadly, my laptop does not have an extra Ethernet slot, thus disabling my chance to work with the Cat5 cable, and due to my already slow internet connection, I can't risk hubs and switches, and I don't think my parent will let me buy a router due to its expensiveness...due to this...I tried searching for some sort of device that can "make" another Ethernet slot. (i.e. the filter device used for DSL etc...) (I'm not very bright in computers and tried to plug the device into the "huge" Ethernet slot and couldn't) So, what I'm asking is for a router that is "cheap" as in (10-20 dollars) or a device that can enable me to plug in two Ethernet cables in one slot...Thank you
